Lindsey & Jarred | Wedding | Belle Isle Castle
The Exquisite Wedding of Lindsey and Jarred
Lindsey and Jarred got married on Saturday 15 June 2019 with an amazingly beautiful ceremony and reception at the idyllic Belle Isle Castle and Estate, Lisbellaw, Co Fermanagh.
Traveling from America to get married in Northern Ireland is a huge logistic operation. But it was one so very much worth it as they had the most amazing experience before, during and after their wedding. Bringing their closest friends and family along with them to help the celebrate their love together made the day so much more special. There was also family from Germany that made the trip to be part of their day.
Their wedding album is absolutely insanely gorgeous! It’s one of the biggest I’ve ever done. It’s a fine art beauty, with a simply stunning leather cover finished with their names in real 22 carat gold lettering. Divine! Inside, it tells their love story over 102 pages, with a whopping 275 images printed with special fine art printing that shows the detail to perfection.
Love You More, Love You Most
I started capturing Lindsey and Jarred’s day in one of the beautiful rooms in the Abercorn Wing of the 17th Century Castle. Lindsey was getting her hair and makeup done so I happily worked away with all of the little details she had brought with her to help tell her. I was glad she remembered to pack her lovely invitations which I had asked her to bring with her so that I could record them for her. There was lots of cute little details, including her hand written vows – oh and their rings – They had one of their sayings to each other engraved on the inside of them. On Lindsey’s, engraved was “Love You Most”, and on Jarred’s was “Love You More”. Such a cute little added extra!
Oh and I nearly forgot about Lindsey’s dress….Oh my word! It is insanely stunning! Wait until you see all of the detail in this beauty! There really was lots of stunning details throughout their whole day!
First Looks, Blindfolds and Tissues at the Ready
Before the ceremony, Lindsey and Jarred had talked about doing a ‘First Look’. This is generally an American tradition where the bride and groom would meet to see each other for the first time ahead of their ceremony. Only this time….they did it with a twist. They met at a corner, not being able to see each other! They had a little moment together just holding hands and wished each other well. It was a lovely thing to capture actually and I’m glad I was able to make this request come to life.
After that they had a blessing of the rings with their family. So of course Jarred had to be brought into the room blindfolded so that he couldn’t see Lindsey. It was an emotional moment for the family. You can see it clearly in their eyes. Beautiful moments captured forever.
I could talk for ages about this wedding but I’m going to stop here and let the pictures do the talking. Grab a cuppa and joy what follows below. There is quite a few pictures to load here, and I’m serious when I say this is actually only a small selection! Hopefully they’ll all have loaded by now and you can scroll and take in the sheer beauty of this stunning wedding. Enjoy.
