The Beautiful Wedding of Laura and Samuel
Ahhh 🙂 Laura and Samuel are sweet! They make for a great couple and are so relaxed with each other and very much in love.
Corick House Hotel and Spa hosted their entire day, first of all having the function room styled to make for a lovely ceremony location before turning it all around after to cater for their reception.
So I started the day in one of the bedrooms at Corick House with Laura and the gang, capturing the little details and personal touches of her wedding day. I love the black and white images of her getting ready! It’s great capturing the hustle and bustle of a busy wedding morning, and when it’s in a room with gorgeous window light it makes it even better. I finished that particular sequence off with a stunning trio of images with Laura pretty mush ready – just getting the last adjustments made to the back of her gorgeous wedding dress. Image that blown up and printed professionally and displayed in a stunning Wall Art piece in your dressing room for instance.
After a few nice portraits of all the girls ready I moved onto Samuel, but I only had literally two minutes with him as Laura was running slightly behind schedule. I had never seen a man so nervous. But I managed to get him relaxed for a quick couple of pictures and then we nipped into the ceremony room. Sure he has nothing to worry about…Laura was looking stunning – and you’ll see him catching that first sight of her walking down the aisle towards him.
It’s all in the eyes they say – and just look at Laura and Samuel’s eyes as they are saying their wedding vows. So very much in love and it’s great to see that. And the joy in their faces when it’s all done and dusted officially.
An Unexpected Surprise In Their Speeches…
After all of the family portraits, their bride and groom portraits and organising a massive group photo on the lawn, it was time to move back inside for a lovely wedding dinner.
It’s always nice when speeches have a bit of character about them and this was definitely one of those occasions. It’s great to see such community between families coming together.
But the real excitement came when it was the turn of Samuel’s best man. Oh boy! For such a quiet man, Samuel definitely has a few tricks up his sleeve. I’ll let you discover his dressing up abilities down below – and just look at the delight on his face whilst the story is being told. Talk about a good ribbing! It was all in good humour though and he got a well deserved kiss from Laura after it all.
